The ISIS Paranormal Investigations team is proud to have received a number of awards since our website has been established. Each award is presented based on meeting certain criteria, with respect to either paranormal website design, team conduct, or research. We display every award with great pride and offer our eternal gratitude to the reputable and well established organizations that have been so kind to present our team with the following paranormal awards. The Floating Orb Award

The Floating Orb Award is awarded by the International Ghost Hunters Society, also known as IGHS, an organization that is headed up by founders Drs. Dave Oester and Sharon Gill. Drs. Dave Oester and Sharon Gill are the authors of several books including Twilight Visitors and The Haunted Reality. The IGHS is an organization that provides both free and paid membership into their Ghost Research Society to interested members. The IGHS also offers special home study courses for those individuals interested in learning more about ghost hunting, paranormal research, electronic voice phenomena, Reiki, and paranormal counseling.

The Floating Orb Award has been given to the ISIS Team and is an award delivered on the basis of exceptional photographic evidence of life after death as represented by the floating orb(s) in the graphic. The Floating Orb Award is in no way based on web design or excellence, but on the notable photographs obtained during an investigation: photos that indicate clear paranormal activity and that the IGHS believes represents the spirits of the dead. Our team was presented this award based on our Cohoes photographic capture, otherwise known as the "pushy ghost," where a partial apparition appears at the top of the staircase. Moments prior to capturing the photograph an investigator had been nearly pushed down the flight of stairs by an unseen force.

The Freaking Scary Site Award

The Crypt of Excellence Award

The ISIS Team was presented with the Crypt of Excellence Award by the Pacific Paranormal Research Society, also known as PPRS, in 2005. The Pacific Paranormal Research Society has many years of experience in the field of paranormal investigation and has been investigating claims of paranormal activity since the year 2001. The PPRS organization is headed up by a husband and wife team situated in Portland, Oregon: members of the organization got their official start in the field of paranormal study while working with the Phantom Seekers organization. PPRS is an organization that firmly believes that both scientific and psychic methods should be used during the process of paranormal investigation, but the organization places more weight on scientific evidence collection.

The PPRS Team has had numerous speaking engagements, have formerly offered classes pertaining to paranormal study and research, and have been featured in The Encyclopedia of Haunted Places authored by Jeff Belanger. As of February 1, 2008, due to other obligations, the PPRS team has shifted its focus from conducting private investigations to other activities related to paranormal study. An Award of Excellence for Outstanding Paranormal Research

EVP Voices officially presented the ISIS Paranormal Investigations team with an unique award, An Award of Excellence for Outstanding Paranormal Research in 2005, shortly after the official establishment of our site. EVP Voices is a site that formerly focused on the study of Electronic Voice Phenomena and offered a number of different EVP samples to listen to. Further, EVPVoices formerly offered a fantastic forum where web visitors could join and discuss EVP findings, the appropriate methods for EVP collection, and current EVP related theory.

Formerly located at EVPVoices.com, the webmaster is in the process of rebuilding the EVPVoices website at EVPVoices.org, citing the fact that the website is not a commercial site and is therefore being changed to a site with an .org address. Paranormal Award

The West Michigan Ghost Hunters Society presented the ISIS Paranormal Investigations Team with the Paranormal Award in the year 2005. The West Michigan Ghost Hunters Society is a team that was first established in late 1999 and the team’s mission is related to discovering answers that address that which is unexplainable. The West Michigan Ghost Hunters Society, also known as WMGHS, is a group that is non-profit that investigates claims into paranormal activity in both business and private residences. The team does not charge to conduct investigations and the services delivered by the organization are completely confidential.

The WMGHS group offers a website complete with a photo gallery, an EVP gallery, case information and other information on paranormal study and research. Link exchange opportunities are available. I Love Your Site Award & Your Site Scared ReneesGhosts

The webmaster of ReneesGhosts has had personal paranormal experiences and has captured evidence on film and tape. Web visitors can learn and read about the webmaster’s experiences pertaining to the Queen Mary, as well as the other paranormal experiences recounted by the webmaster. ReneesGhosts.com presented the ISIS Paranormal Investigations Team with two beautiful awards in 2005: the I Love Your Site Award and the Your Site Scared ReneesGhosts Award.

ReneesGhosts.com is a website that offers information about Electronic Voice Phenomena, ghostly photographic evidence, ghost stories, and haunted objects. ReneesGhosts also hosts a GhostTalk Forum where visitors can register and join in on the interesting and informative ghostly conversation! Paranormal Excellence Award

Coastal Spirit Chasers presented ISIS Paranormal Investigations with the Paranormal Excellence Award in 2005. Coastal Spirit Chasers is a team that is located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Coastal Spirit Chasers is a paranormal Team that conducts investigations in the Carolinas and has been doing so since the year 2000. The CSC is an organization that seeks to gather information that will better enhance the understanding of paranormal occurrences. The CSC Team is a non-profit organization and the team is committed to offering confidential investigations to those individuals experiencing unexplained events.

Best Dark Site Award

Demons Fury presented the ISIS Paranormal Investigations with the Best Dark Site Award in 2005. Currently, the Demons Fury website is no longer active at this time. If the website should become active again, we will update this site with further information regarding the Demons Fury website.

The site formerly offered horror midis, horror related graphics, links to different horror films, and Halloween themed information. The site also formerly awarded other websites that contained horror related or Halloween based themes, as well as ghostly or paranormal information.

Excellence in Paranormal Investigation Award

Proof Paranormal presented the ISIS Paranormal Investigations Team with two different Excellence in Paranormal Investigation Awards in 2005. Proof Paranormal prides itself on being a team that seeks out logical explanations to paranormal claims before offering a paranormal explanation. Based in Indianapolis, Indiana, Proof Paranormal investigates private homes and businesses. The team relies on the use of scientific equipment including thermal imaging devices, night vision DVR surveillance, electromagnetic field devices, digital recording tools, cameras, and sound recording equipment during the process of investigations.

Proof Paranormal offers their investigative services free of charge as long as the investigations requested are based on serious queries. Client confidentiality is maintained by the team and the team does not conduct cleansing or psychic investigative work. Haunted Voices Awards

The Haunted Voices organization awarded ISIS Paranormal Investigations three web awards in the year 2005. The first two awards are the gold and silver EVP awards. The third award from Haunted Voices is the Excellent Site Award, also provided to our team in 2005.

Haunted Voices is currently part of the HVRN Corporations which is a 501(c)(3) non profit organization. Haunted Voices' research is centered on the study of Electronic Voice Phenomena, otherwise referred to as EVPs. Haunted voices offers free classes to community members interested in learning how to conduct EVP sessions. There are also donation funded advanced training courses and certification opportunities offered by Haunted Voices as well. Haunted Voices offers skilled instructors that rely on the latest technology, and the instructors work as beta testors for software like Adobe Audition. The organization Haunted Voices was established in the year 2004 by Todd Bates; his aim at the time was to provide paranormally-themed educational material to the paranormal community. Excellence in Paranormal Award & The Awesome Site Award

West Central Georgia Investigators of Paranormal Activity, now known as Deep South Paranormal Investigators presented ISIS Paranormal Investigations with the Excellence in Paranormal Award, as well as an Awesome Site Award in 2005. West Central Georgia Investigators of Paranormal Activity is a team that actively investigates both businesses and homes for alleged paranormal activity. Also referred to as DSPI, the West Central Georgia Investigators of Paranormal Activity offer free investigative services to those individuals interested in an investigation; the team cites the reason for offering free investigations as being a love for the study of the paranormal. DSPI has had a number of unique encounters and dealings, giving them a good deal of experience in the field. Many of the members of DSPI work in public safety occupations, and they use their knowledge while conducting investigations into paranormal activity.
